Associate Scientist in Cell Biology / High Content imaging

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform cell biology experiments aimed towards the development of therapeutics acting through modulation of protein homeostasis networks.
• Contribute to experimental design, data analysis, data interpretation and presentation as part of collaborative, cross-functional research teams.
Degree Required:
Bachelor's degree in biology or related area, a minimum of 3-5+ years relevant academic or industry “hands on” laboratory experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:
The successful candidate will be a “hands on” cell biologist with expertise/experience in:
• mammalian cell biology, molecular biology and/or cellular pharmacology
• high content imaging (Cellomics ArrayScan)
• the use of cDNAs, siRNAs, lentiviruses, and compounds for modulation of gene function
Prior experience with robotics and high throughput screening is a plus.
